How to change the direct debit bank account for Endesa bills
How to change the account you use to pay your bills
You can change the bank account you pay your Endesa bills from whenever you like. You can also add more accounts and even pay different bills from different accounts. For example you can pay for your electricity from one account and your gas from another.
It is straightforward to do so, but you need to log in to your customer area. To do so, you must first register.
- Log in to your customer area.
- Click on the "Procedures" section.
- In the "Payment and bills" section, you will find the "Modify direct debits" section, where you can update your bank account for electricity and/or gas contracts.
- Once inside, access your payment methods; you will find the link at the bottom of the page you are on.
- You can also access from your Profile by clicking on the "Payment methods" section.
- Add a new bank account, and remember to save your changes.
How to associate my bank accounts with different contracts
You may want to pay for different bills from different bank accounts. For example, you can pay for electricity from one account and gas from another.
Just assign each contract to the desired bank account.
You can do this from your customer area by following the steps below:
- Log in to your customer area.
- Click on the "Procedures" section.
- In the "Payment and bills" section, you will find the "Modify direct debits" section, where you can update your bank account for electricity and/or gas contracts.
- Once inside, select the contract you want to modify the bank account.
- Add a new bank account, and remember to save your changes.
- Finally, choose which account you want to continue operating with from now on.
Stop worrying about your electricity rate
It doesn't matter what time you run your electrical appliances. A fixed price for every kWh you use.
SEPA Mandate; what is it and how does it affect you?
The SEPA Mandate establishes the Single Euro Payments Area (the 27 EU member states plus 5 more).
This serves to simplify processes, guarantee the security of your banking transactions and normalize commissions.
It affects you when:
- You change bank accounts
- You set up a direct debit payment plan for your bills
In both cases you need to authorise us to directly collect a payment from a specific bank account. This signed authorisation is the SEPA mandate.
How to send the SEPA mandate
If we need your SEPA mandate to change your bank account, we will inform you by email. We will ask you to attach your authorisation so we can pay your bills by automatically withdrawing funds from your bank account.
To do this, you must sign the document and scan it. Once completed, you only need to attach the document in the "Attach SEPA mandate" section in the "Means of payment" section of your Profile in the customer area.
Comparison of Electricity and Gas Tariffs
You don't need to adapt to Endesa's tariffs because they adapt to you. If you go to our catalogue you can compare the different tariffs for yourself. Or if you prefer, you can answer a few questions and we will take care of comparing all the different electricity and gas tariffs and then make a customised recommendation.
